Description

The IDEAL 5560 LT is a professional hydraulic stack cutter for the highest demands – equipped with air tables on the front and rear for particularly comfortable and material-saving operation. The generous cutting length of 550 mm and the robust construction make this model the ideal solution for printing companies, finishing operations, and in-house printing departments with high volumes.

The air table significantly reduces friction when moving heavy stacks of paper and makes positioning on the cutting table easier – a noticeable advantage for productive work. The proven EASY-CUT cutting release allows safe two-hand operation. The knife and pressure bar are driven hydraulically, the pressure can be adjusted steplessly and read precisely via a pressure gauge. A foot pedal supports pre-pressing or serves as a cutting indicator.

Operation is via a 7" touchpad with a multilingual interface. Up to 99 programs with 99 steps each can be saved here – including chain dimension function, direct input and EJECT function. An integrated calculator and fixed dimension memory for DIN formats support efficiency. The electronic handwheel allows for fine-tuning manual adjustments of the backstop in 1/10 mm steps.

Safety is a top priority: An IR light barrier on the front table, the closed rear table cover, a knife stop, the 24-volt control system, and the tool-free knife change with covered cutting edge are part of the comprehensive SCS – Safety Cutting System. The system is complemented by an optical LED cutting indicator, LED table lighting, and machine self-diagnosis.

Manufactured in Germany, the IDEAL 5560 LT impresses with its solid all-metal construction, durability and ease of repair – a well-thought-out solution for professional, continuous use.
