Description

The IDEAL 5560 is a professional, hydraulic stack cutter for the highest demands on cutting precision, ease of operation and safety. With an impressive cutting length of 550 mm and a cutting height of up to 95 mm, the device is suitable for large paper formats and high cutting volumes.

The IDEAL 5560 impresses with its robust construction, intelligent control and consistent user-friendliness and ease of maintenance – manufactured in Germany.

Operation is via the patented EASY-CUT two-stage controls, supplemented by a large 7" touchpad with digital dimension display. The electrically operated backstop can be fine-tuned via program control or manually via the electronic handwheel in 1/10 mm increments. 99 programs with 99 steps each, chain dimension functions, EJECT option and saved DIN formats offer maximum flexibility and efficiency.

The hydraulic drive for the knives and press beam enables precise, powerful cuts – supported by the steplessly adjustable pressure with a clearly readable pressure gauge. An optical LED cutting display and the three-stage workplace lighting facilitate precise alignment and cutting. A foot pedal supports pre-pressing or serves as a cutting indicator. The SCS – Safety Cutting System with IR safety light curtain, back table cover, safety drive, knife return, 24-volt control and a safe knife change without opening the housing ensures additional safety.

The construction made of die-cast aluminum and cast steel, an HSS blade with a double-sided, adjustable carrier, and the durable mechanics make the IDEAL 5560 a permanently reliable cutting system – sustainably produced and designed for long-term use.
