Description

The IDEAL 4860 is a professional stack cutter for demanding cutting processes up to DIN A3+. With a cutting length of 475 mm and a cutting height of up to 80 mm, this model processes large stacks of paper safely, efficiently and with high precision – ideal for digital printers, finishing companies or in-house printing departments with complex requirements.

The patented EASY-CUT two-stage controls ensure comfortable, ergonomic operation with maximum safety. The SCS – Safety Cutting System is complemented by an integrated IR safety light curtain on the front table, which ensures a safe workflow without manual intervention. The safety concept is completed by a rear table cover, a main switch with lock and an automatic return of the knife and press beam.

The heart of the control system is the touchpad with multilingual operation. The electrically operated backstop can be precisely controlled via 99 programs with 99 steps each – including direct input, chain dimension function and EJECT command. Fine adjustment is done via the electronic handwheel with steplessly adjustable speed in the range of 1/10 mm. Pre-programmed DIN dimensions and memory buttons further simplify the workflow.

In addition to the electromechanical blade drive, the optical cutting indicator with bright LEDs and the three-stage LED work area lighting ensure precise cutting results. Simple maintenance is guaranteed: the blade can be changed without tools via an integrated device with a covered blade edge.

The robust all-metal construction, combined with a solid steel blade carrier and hardened blade guides, stands for the highest quality, repairability and durability - Made in Germany.
