Description

The IDEAL 4855 is a powerful, electrically powered stack cutter for demanding cutting tasks up to DIN A3+. Equipped with state-of-the-art control technology, it offers precise, safe and comfortable operation – ideal for copyshops, prepress departments or in-house printing areas with regularly changing cutting jobs.

The central control element is the touchpad for controlling the electric backstop. The program control allows you to save up to 99 programs with 99 steps each – including chain dimensions, direct input, EJECT function and pre-set DIN formats. Fine adjustment is made via the electronic handwheel with progressive control in 1/10 mm steps. This allows even demanding cutting jobs to be implemented precisely and reproducibly.

The patented EASY-CUT two-stage controls ensure ergonomic, safe cutting. The automatic pressing ensures even pressure on the material being cut, while the electromechanical blade drive guarantees a clean cut image at cutting heights of up to 80 mm. The optical cutting indicator with LED light line provides additional support for precise positioning.

The SCS – Safety Cutting System includes an electronically monitored, transparent safety device on the front table, a cover on the rear table, a main switch with lock, a 24-volt control system, as well as automatic return stroke and blade depth adjustment from the outside. The blade change is simple, safe and without opening the housing via the integrated blade change device with covered cutting edge.

With its robust all-metal housing, a standard base, paper storage shelf and tool holder, the IDEAL 4855 is designed for durable, sustainable use – in proven German brand quality.
