Description

The IDEAL 4606 high-capacity shredder shreds confidential documents at security level P-4 using cross cut (4 x 40 mm). Sheet capacity is 56–65 sheets (DIN A4, 80 g/m²) per pass.

Two feeding routes handle different paper forms: the paddle roller in the hinged hopper meters crumpled paper into the cutting mechanism. The folding feed table takes flat paper stacks and continuous computer paper. Working width is 460 mm. A photo cell controls start and stop when feeding paper via the table. Automatic oil injection during shredding.

EASY-SWITCH control with colour signals and illuminated symbols. The 2.2-kW three-phase motor has thermal overload protection. The 230-litre shred trolley can be pulled out from the front for emptying. The unit automatically switches to standby mode after 30 minutes. The cutting mechanism has tools made of hardened special steel. Automatic reverse and restart respond to paper jams. Made in Germany.
