Description

The IDEAL 2604 office paper shredder with automatic oiler is the ideal choice for GDPR-compliant destruction of highly confidential documents, such as financial records, medical records, and sensitive business documents.

It processes 14–16 sheets per pass (DIN A4, 80 g/m²) using 2 x 15 mm cross cut. The smooth-running AC motor is also designed for continuous operation.

ECC LEDs show how much of the sheet capacity is in use, helping you adjust the paper load. EASY-SWITCH guides operation with colour signals and illuminated symbols. Automatic reverse and cut-off help prevent paper jams. An electronically monitored safety flap provides additional protection at the feed opening.

Quality is built into the components: hardened solid steel cutting shafts, a robust enclosed gearbox with a twin-drive system and a smooth-running AC motor. The cutting shafts are resistant to paper clips; small quantities of paper clips may remain in the paper. The automatic oiler supplies oil to the cutting shafts during shredding to help maintain the cutting mechanism.

The 100-litre shred bin can be removed for emptying. It can be used with or without a disposable bag. The wooden cabinet on castors makes the shredder easy to move around the office. After 15 minutes in standby, the unit automatically disconnects from the mains.

Spare parts are available for up to 15 years after production discontinuation. Made in Germany.
