Description

The IDEAL 2445 P-6 with automatic oiler meets the highest data protection requirements and is ideal for the secure destruction of highly confidential corporate data, classified research findings, and official government documents. It processes 3–5 sheets per pass (DIN A4, 80 g/m²) using 0.8 x 12 mm micro cut and achieves security level P-6.

EASY-SWITCH guides operation with colour signals and illuminated symbols and shows the operating status. If too much paper is inserted, automatic reverse and cut-off help prevent paper jams. An electronically monitored safety flap provides additional protection at the feed opening.

Quality is built into the components: hardened solid steel cutting shafts, a robust enclosed gearbox and a smooth-running AC motor. Paper clips and staples must be removed before shredding. The automatic oiler supplies oil to the cutting shafts during shredding to help maintain the cutting mechanism.

The 35-litre shred bin can be removed for emptying and used with or without a disposable bag. The wooden cabinet on castors makes the shredder easy to move around the office. After 15 minutes in standby, the machine automatically disconnects from the mains.
