Our 360° smart filters
with outstanding cleaning performance

Our specially developed HEPA filters with multi-stage filter technology remove pollutants from your indoor air – including respirable and ultrafine particles (nanoparticles) that can make you sick.

99.99%* clean air

* Cleaning performance at 0.2 μm according to DIN 71460-1

Pollutants

Pollen and allergens, pathogens, mold, fine dust and particles, odors, formaldehyde, benzene and VOCs, nitrogen dioxide

5 filter layers – layer by layer to clean air.

The five filter layers of our 360° smart filters capture small and large particles, as well as gases and molecules. They also filter the so-called MPPS ("Most Penetrating Particle Size"), the most difficult-to-remove particles with a size between 0.1 and 0.3 micrometers. Thanks to their round design, the filter surface is optimally utilized.

  1. Pre-filter grid
The pre-filter grid surrounds the 360° multi-layer filter and removes coarse
Dirt such as hair, lint and dust.
  2. Pre-filter layer
The pre-filter filters out coarser particles and extends the life of the HEPA filter.
  3. HEPA microfiber layer
The microfiber layer filters even respirable and ultrafine particles (PM2.5, PM10.3).
  4. Activated carbon layer
The activated carbon neutralizes even chemical substances, NO2, ozone and strong odors.
  5. Cover layer
The covering fleece protects the high proportion of activated carbon.

6 physical effects

These filter mechanisms clean your room air particularly effectively.

Inertia effect

The larger a particle, the greater its mass and thus its inertia. Inert particles cannot follow the movement of the airflow around the fiber: they collide with the fiber and stick to it.

Diffusion effect

Particles smaller than 1 μm move randomly in the airflow. They collide, bounce off each other, and land in the fibers, where they become trapped.

Electrostatic attraction

The fibers are electrostatically charged. This creates an electric field that attracts oppositely charged particles.

Blocking effect

Smaller particles have less mass and therefore follow the airflow. However, if they pass too close to a fiber, they are attracted to it and stick.

Sieve effect

This filter mechanism captures coarse particles that are too large for the distance between the fibers: they do not fit through the gaps.

Gravitational effect

The principle of attraction. The heavier the particles, the faster they fall. Most of these particles collide with the fiber and are thus captured.

For maximum cleaning performance

Our 360° smart filters clean the air reliably and effectively.

Good for you and the environment

Because the filters are paper-free, our filter technology eliminates the need for chemicals to combat germs. IDEAL air purifiers are therefore completely hygienic and safe. The energy-efficient filter design, made in Germany, makes our air purifiers durable and economical.
