Our re-certification was successful

Our re-certification was successful

Our company was due for an ISO re-certification audit at the end of March 2019. The objective was to ascertain whether we are putting into practice in our day-to-day work the theoretical goals stated in the management handbook. The auditors scrutinised in detail administration procedures as well as production processes. To come straight to the point: We passed the 5-day audit. We meet the specified requirements and can continue to hold all the quality certificates for another year and use them for promotion purposes.

This covers the following certificates specifically:

-          Quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001

-          Environmental management systems according to DIN EN ISO 14001

-          Energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001

-          Management system seal of quality for customer orientation and continuous improvement

The audit focussed primarily on verification of the improvements we have made in all categories during the past 12 months. In addition, we had to prove that we had taken remedial action in the areas identified during the last audit as weak or having potential for improvement. Our various energy-saving activities also met with approval and allowed us to achieve the objectives we set. The auditors particularly praised the strong commitment of all K+P staff as a whole. This is a tremendous success for our company and a key factor in its competitiveness, especially where (inter)national tenders and supplies to foreign countries are concerned.
