Junior Academy 2019: Learning instead of sleeping in!

Junior Academy 2019: Learning instead of sleeping in!

The scholarship holders of this year's Junior Academy, from the administrative district of Tübingen, visited various companies in the region together with their supervisors. Krug & Priester has already supported this established project for many years, so was naturally involved in it this time too.

WFor most pupils, the autumn holidays meant sleeping in, meeting friends and just chilling. But this was not the case for participants in the Junior Academy. Here, highly gifted pupils with an aptitude for technology were able to engage with companies carrying out scientific and technical projects. Four of these pupils worked with us on designing and building a binary clock. We offered the talented young people the opportunity to learn about different technical and scientific careers and professions, and gain practical insights to help them choose a profession later on. The highly motivated scholarship holders always take advantage of this opportunity very enthusiastically. All participants agreed that the autumn holidays had been both great fun and very informative.
