Can I fold my paper immediately after printing?

No. You should first allow the freshly printed paper to dry and cool off for a while. This helps ensure that the paper is drawn into the device evenly. It also makes a lot of sense to first fan out the sheets before the folding process. This improves the feed process and prevents double sheets from being drawn into the machine. When working with offset printed products, you should allow the paper to dry for at least 24 hours.

The paper is getting stuck in the buckle plate

In this case, the paper might be too "smooth" or too "hard". Please note that the device can only fold the paper grammage (g/m2) specified in the technical data sheet. In this case, use grammages appropriate for the performance of the device. To remove the paper, swing up the roller cover and remove the scraps of paper from the machine. Regular cleaning of the rubber rollers helps secure consistent sheet feeding. Our universal roller cleaner (order number 9000632) is ideal for this purpose. Other cleaners can damage the device.

Paper is not being drawn in

In this case, the paper guide may have been set too narrow. Apply the paper guides only loosely to the paper and position the white pressure discs in the feed area approximately 1 cm inwards from the paper guides. Now press the paper feed table downwards and slide the paper forwards up to the stop. This process is also described in the operating manual. Regular cleaning of the rubber infeed rollers helps secure consistent sheet feeding.

Paper is not being drawn in properly

The rubber roller and the wiper need to be cleaned at regular intervals. When doing so, please only use the universal roller cleaner approved by us (order number 9000632). Other cleaners can damage the device. If these measures fail to remedy the issue, you should replace the likely worn rubber roller(s) and the wiper. You can find instructions on how to do this in the operating manual. In this case, please get in touch with your local dealer.

The "Paper Jam/Empty" message appears, despite the fact that paper has actually been loaded

In this case, the outfeed roller might either not be in the correct position or not be rotating. Set the outfeed roller to the corresponding type of folding and make sure that the roller can move freely. When folding large quantities, it is important to ensure that the paper outfeed area is emptied at regular intervals to ensure that no backlog is created. This process is also described in the operating manual.

The "Paper Jam/Empty" message appears immediately, despite the fact that paper has actually been loaded

In this case, the light barrier at the outfeed might be dirty or being blocked by scraps of paper. The light barrier is located in the outfeed area behind the small metal cover above the green outfeed belts. Please clean the two light barrier glass covers in the paper outfeed area using a dust-free cloth.
